This course is designed to provide core knowledge of the components and functions of blood and the immune system. The aetiopathogenesis, clinical aspects, and the rationale for the use of drugs in common disorders of blood and basic immunology are delivered by interactive lectures. Two PBL scenarios designed to foster collaborative and self-directed learning augment the didactic lectures. The course intends to include interactive sessions and assessment with inter discipline approach to enhance the scope of intrasystem-inter discipline integration.
