Biostatistics: The main emphasis in this element is on teaching students the basic concepts, principles, and methods in the field of statistics and its applications in public health, medicine, and research; Collecting, organizing, and analyzing their data scientifically; Presenting the findings of statistical analysis in the form of tables charts and graphs Differentiate descriptive and inferential statistics; Describe the purpose and the basic concept of each statistical procedure and tests of significance. Lectures are complemented by hands-on training with data analysis.

 Epidemiology: The aim of this element is to  describe the basic concepts, principles, and methods of epidemiology and their applications in public health and research; factors that affect disease patterns and describe disease patterns in developing and developed countries; measure the occurrence of health-related status in human populations using epidemiological methods and the use of routinely available data sources, types of epidemiological studies, their advantages and disadvantages and identify study designs used in medical research; and causation and risk determination
